As December draws to a close, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your partnership throughout the first half of the school year. Our students have shown incredible growth, curiosity, and resilience, and that success is deeply tied to the support they receive at home.

The upcoming winter break offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy time together as a family. We encourage you to prioritize rest, reading, laughter, and creating cherished memories.

We look forward to welcoming our students back, refreshed and ready for a bright new year of learning, on January 5th.

PTO Fundraiser: Popcorn Friday was a Huge Success!

• Thank you to our PTO, our parent volunteers, and the many families that were able to help donate to our PTO Popcorn day!

Important Dates this Week:

• We have full week of school, please be sure students are here for learning!
• School is closed for Winter Break from December 22nd - January 4th.
• School resumes on January 5th.

Community In Schools:

• Weekend Food Packs are available now for families that would like one. Forms are available in CIS office to sign-up.

• Vision Assistance Fund is available to help assist in getting children a pair of eye glasses. Reach out to Ms. Katrina for assistance/form to fill out.
• Mobile Health and Dental Clinics - see flyers and form below! This is a wonderful opportunity for your student to receive dental and medical visits on site at Arcadia!
• If you are interested in the Arcadia After School Program though Community In Schools, please reach out to Josh Smith at smithjd@kalamazoopublicschools.net.
