E. Ray Family Newsletter
August 17th-August 21st

Dear E. Ray Families,
We had a great first full week of school at E. Ray! Our Bulldogs are settling in, learning our expectations, and really getting into their daily routines. As we continue building strong routines, please help us by ensuring your child arrives at school on time and ready to learn each day. Our school day begins at 7:30 AM, and every minute of instruction matters.
Attendance Matters
Our campus attendance goal this year is 97%. Being at school every day and arriving on time gives students the best opportunity to learn and be successful. When your child is absent, please remember to send a note or appropriate documentation to the school when they return.
Students who arrive after 7:30 AM must be accompanied into the building by an adult and signed in through the front office. Please do not drop students off at the door after 7:30 AM. Thank you for helping us make sure all students are safely accounted for each morning.
Bulldog BEST
At E. Ray, we expect our students to show their Bulldog BEST each day by being Responsible, Respectful, Kind, and Safe. These values guide how we treat one another, make choices, and take care of our school. We encourage you to talk with your child about what it means to demonstrate their Bulldog BEST at school, at home, and in our community.
Visitor Reminder
As a reminder, we serve young students on our campus and ask all adults entering the building to adhere to appropriate dress guidelines. Visitors whose attire is not appropriate for an elementary school setting will not be permitted to enter the building. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain an appropriate environment for our students. We are excited about the great start our Bulldogs have made and look forward to another successful week. Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to help every student learn, grow, and succeed.
