SUNDAY RECAP
“NO CHEAT CODES”
Sermon Title: “NO CHEAT CODES”
Scripture: Ephesians 4:28–32
Speaker: Pastor Terrence
Pastor Terrence taught an inspiring and thought-provoking lesson entitled “No Cheat Codes!” reminding us there are no shortcuts that will result in spiritual growth. Our spiritual journey requires obedience, discipline, and a willingness to allow God to transform our lives.
He defined a shortcut as an attempt to achieve a desired outcome while avoiding the obedience, discipline, or transformation required along the way.
Using the story of Saul in 1 Samuel 15:13–15 and 1 Samuel 15:22–23, Pastor Terrence reminded us that God desires our obedience more than our excuses. We cannot bypass the process God has established for our spiritual growth. There are no cheat codes when it comes to living a life that pleases Him!
OUR CALL TO ACTION: Y.O.K.E.
Pastor Terrence challenged us to remember these four principles:
Y — Yield to God’s will and surrender to His direction.
O — Obey God’s Word, even when it is difficult or inconvenient.
K — Keep your focus on God and remain steadfast in your walk with Him.
E — Exhibit God’s light through your actions, words, and relationships.
The Takeaway: Spiritual transformation is not about finding the easiest way; it is about choosing God’s way! We must be intentional about our choices, our conversations, and how we treat others. Every day, we have an opportunity to reflect Christ in all that we do.
There are no shortcuts to spiritual maturity. Let’s yield, obey, keep our focus on God, and exhibit His light wherever we go!

UPCOMING EVENTS AT A GLANCE!
JOIN US FOR THE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT ENCOUNTER
FEEDING THE UNSHELTERED
We came together with Crystal Springs Chapel to feed the unsheltered and be the hands and feet of Jesus! Not even the rain could stop us from doing God’s will!
Rain or shine, our mission remains the same: to show God’s love through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to those in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together in unity, serve our community, and make a difference in the lives of others.
“For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat…” — Matthew 25:35 (NIV)
When God calls us to serve, we show up! Because ministry is not just what we do inside the church—it’s how we show God’s love outside the four walls.
