Class of 2025 Graduates: Mrs. Hepperly plans to take them to the 1st home football game, the homecoming game, and will be available during the Open House on September 28th for them to pick up. If you have a sibling in the school, please have them pick it up and bring it home for you.

We are looking for volunteers to help build our Memorial Wall. We have the limestone arch from the original New Berlin High School main entry and the Pretzel Field signage and brick display. LLCC Career Expo - Sophomore Class -The LLCC Careers Expo will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the LLCC main campus in Springfield. The event will feature careers and training in:

• Workforce Institute
• Health Professions
• First Responders

Sept 25 - Teen Health Care Exploration Program at St. Johns - Details Below!

Amanda Winter from St. John’s College of Nursing in Springfield, IL reached out to Dr. Viola last week to provide important information about the NP3 Program:

In the past, we have held the NP3 program. We are revamping the program to be more inclusive and hands on. This year, we are hosting 6 Wednesday night sessions spread throughout the academic school year. The Teen Health Care Exploration Program sessions will be from 4:30-7:30pm and cover a variety of topics. Not only will high school students be interacting with nursing students and other healthcare professionals, but we will have some interprofessional partners. We invite your juniors and seniors to sign up to attend this year! If students attend 3 or more sessions out of 6, they are eligible for a tuition benefit to St. John’s College of Nursing. I will attach the brochure, tentative schedule, and the online form where students can sign up! The online form gives a brief description of the session as well.

Notice that there is an open house date on Wednesday, September 25th from 3-5pm. This is for students, parents, counselors, or even science teachers who would like to learn more about the program or the simulation center. We have hosted field trips in the past for science classes and would love to have you!
