Fire/Evacuation Drill
Wednesday, August 26
Students are trained to:
- Leave personal belongings behind
- Follow pre-planned evacuation routes
- Pay close attention to adult instructions
Staff and adults are trained to:
- Lead students safely to designated evacuation areas
- Use Raptor Technologies to account for all students and adults
- Report injuries or missing/extra students immediately through the Raptor app
How parents can help:
- Keep Info Updated: Ensure your emergency contacts in the iCampus are current so you receive emergency alerts and can authorize guardians for student pickup.
- Let First Responders Work: In a real fire, please do not drive to campus right away. Emergency vehicles need clear roads, and staff will be focused on student accountability.
- Prepare for Reunification: If an off-site evacuation occurs, monitor your phone for official pickup instructions. Remember to bring a photo ID to the designated Reunification Site.
Cell Phone Policy
Our school board has express continued support of our current cell phone and electronic device policy. Please review the cell phone policy with your student.
Attendance Office
☆ Please check your email weekly to get updates on your student's detention hours.
Detention
The detention report is ran on Monday afternoon. We encourage you to excuse your student before then.
If students go above 3 hours of detention, they will not be able to participate in extracurricular activities. If they are below 3 hours, they do not need to serve detention.
