REPORT CARDS - Friday, April 11

Please note that all tuition fees should be up to date to receive a student's report card.

🎭 SGB THEATER 🎭

It's almost show time for SGB's performances of "Beauty & The Beast Jr." Performances will be held April 11-April 13. Tickets are on sale to the SGB School Community through Blackbaud. Tickets are also available on the SGB HOMEPAGE.

Tickets are also available at the door!

Students have been preparing for months and can't wait to share it with all our audiences!

REMINDER: Re-Registration for 2025-2026

We are grateful for your continued partnership in providing a faith-filled education for your children. A friendly reminder that re-registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open. Families who register before April will benefit from the $125 registration fee. After April 15, the fee increases to $250. Don’t miss this opportunity to save and secure your child’s place for another year of learning and growth at SGB.

HSA Leadership – Volunteers Needed!

As we look ahead to the next school year, we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic parents to join our Home School Association (HSA) leadership team. Our school’s rich traditions, events, and activities rely on the generosity of volunteers. Without involvement, some cherished events may not be possible. Please consider answering the call to serve our SGB community in this meaningful way.

NYS Testing Information

Students in grades 3-8 will participate in the NYS ELA and Math assessments on the following dates:

📚 NYS ELA

• Grades 3-5: Tuesday, April 29 & Wednesday, April 30
• Grades 6-8: Wednesday, April 30 & Thursday, May 1

🧮 NYS Math

• Grades 6-8: Tuesday, May 6 & Wednesday, May 7
• Grades 3-5: Thursday, May 8 & Friday, May 9

If you choose for your child not to participate, please read and complete the Refusal Form by Monday, April 28.

REMINDER: Spring Uniforms

As the warmer days approach, students may begin wearing their Spring Uniforms starting Monday, April 7. The official switch to Spring Uniforms for all students will take place on Monday, April 28.

• LENTEN SERVICE PROJECT: Dress Down for SPARKHILL SISTERS Fundraiser. Donations of $5 or more will go to help the sisters in the Sparkhill Convent raise money for much needed TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES. Please help us help our nuns who devote their lives to our faith. PS Sr. Anne, Sr. Margaret and Sr. Diane are part of the Sparkhill Convent Community.

• Please first contact your child's classroom teacher through email or leave a message with the main office at 845-947-1330.
• Once the classroom teacher has had an opportunity to address your question or concern, if it's still unresolved please contact SGB's Principal, Ms. Clarke, through email (noreen.clarke@stgregorybarbarigoschool.org) or call the main office at 845-947-1330 for further assistance.
• If you should require additional assistance with any concerns related to our school after meeting with Ms. Clarke, please contact Mrs. Cathleen Cassel, our Regional Superintendent for the Archdiocese of New York at (845) 831-3073.

We are a team and our first priority is providing an excellent academic and faith-based education for our students in a safe and nurturing environment at St. Gregory Barbarigo School.

2. CHANGES in DISMISSAL or ABSENCES

• Please complete the online form to notify the SGB Staff of any changes in your child's dismissal or if your child will be absent. Any child who is absent for 3 or more days must have a note from a doctor upon return. Thank you!

3. PARKING

• Please avoid parking in the teachers' parking lot. There is available parking in the church parking lot if you should arrive early. Please wait there until your child's drop off time.

4. VISITING SGB & NEW SIGN IN

• In an effort to keep our school safe and know when guests are in the building at all times, ALL adults will sign in when they enter.
