Smithfield Elementary
January 2026
Message from the Principal!
Happy New Year Smithfield Families!
I hope you all had a restful and joyful winter break. There is something uniquely energetic about returning to school in January. It's a time for "fresh starts" not just in our calendars, but in our classrooms. This month, we are focusing on perseverance. As the winter months settle in, we'll be encouraging our students to stick with those "hard things," whether it's a tricky math fraction or a new friendship skill. Thank you for being our partners in your child's journey.
Let's make the second half of the year even better than the first!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the front office if you ever have any questions or concerns (570) 421-2841.
