Dear Cougar Families,

We only have 4 days of school left! How did we get here so fast?! It is so hard to believe that we are at the end of another school year. It has been a great year with so many fun memories made.

SPECIAL THANKS

Field day was a blast! We are so appreciative of the many parent/family volunteers we had and we know we could not have had all of that fun without you! Thanks so much to all of the awesome parents that came to field day and helped make it amazing! We had so much fun with you!

STUDENTS RECOGNIZED IN THE HARDING-BULLER FOUNDATION POSTER CONTEST

Colonial Hills had two students that were recognized in the 4th/5th Grade Harding-Buller Poster Contest. Students had to create a poster and write an essay reflecting on the theme "What's Your Why?". Rowan Hoover placed second in the fourth grade contest and Chrissy Stambaugh placed first in the fifth grade contest! And that's not all! These two Cougars were featured on Good Day Extra (Fox28) for their work. HERE is a link where you can watch our amazing Cougars. Congratulations, Rowan and Chrissy! WE are proud of you!

WE LOVE MS. WESSEL DAY

Don't forget about We Love Ms. Wessel Day on Wednesday, May 20th! On this day, we would love it if your student(s) could bring a token of their love and appreciation to school for Ms. Wessel. This could be a letter they write, a picture they draw, a flower, a card, a gift card, a cookie...really anything they want to give her to show their appreciation! We would love to send Ms. Wessel into retirement by showering her with love!

COUGAR CLOSET

Our Cougar Closet program has been successful in providing families with gently used clothes for their students. We are thankful for our wonderful community for providing us with so many great clothing items to share with our families. If you are cleaning out closets this summer and find yourself with clothes your student(s) have outgrown, we would be happy to take them! You can drop clothes off all summer by the main entrance to the school in the wagon. Someone will be at school during the day to bring them into the building.
