Fisher FamilyUpdateMay 30, 2025

Dear Fisher Families,

We had another busy and exciting week at school!

4th Grade – “Night at the Museum” in Mrs. Fomenko/Mrs Viola, Mrs. Winer and Mrs. McDonald's classes
Our 4th graders amazed us with their creativity and knowledge during “Night at the Museum.” Students brought historical figures to life, sharing facts, stories, and some pretty fantastic costumes. It was a proud moment for families and staff alike!

5th Grade – Egg Drop Challenge
The 5th grade took science to new heights (literally!) with the annual Egg Drop Challenge. With a mix of engineering skills, teamwork, and a little luck, many eggs survived their high-flying journey to the ground—crack-free!

Next Week will be another busy week too!

⚾ Red Sox Day – Monday
We’re thrilled to welcome Red Sox pitcher Garret Whitlock to our school on Monday! Students are encouraged to wear their Red Sox gear to help us show our Boston pride!

🎉 Field Day – Friday
Next Friday will be our always-anticipated Field Day! A fun day of games, teamwork, and outdoor excitement for all grades.

A detailed email with logistics and reminders will be sent early next week.

Have a restful weekend—next week’s fun is just around the corner!

Brian

Medication pick up

Please plan on picking up your child's medication the week of 6/9 between 9:30-2:30pm or on the last day of school (June 13th) until 12pm. The health office has stock Epi-Pens in the event of an emergency. ****If you have a grade 5 student, you will not be able to pick up their medication until 6/11 due to the Grade 5 Field Day on 6/10.

Unfortunately, I am unable to send home medication with your student and we are unable to store medication over the summer.

As a reminder, your child will need updated medication orders for the 2025-26 school year that are dated after 06/30/2025. I will reach out to you prior to the start of the school year with availability to drop off new orders and their medication(s).

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or need a different accommodation for pick up (ie if your child attends extended day AM/PM).

Family Survey

You should have received—or will soon receive—an email invitation to participate in the Walpole Public Schools district-wide Family School Climate Survey. The purpose of the survey is to learn more about you and your child’s experiences in our schools. We have partnered with K12 Insight to administer the survey, gather responses, and analyze the feedback. The insights we collect will play a key role in guiding our School Councils as they develop School Improvement Plans for the upcoming year. We sincerely appreciate your input. Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us create the best possible learning environment for all students.

Check the Lost & Found!

As we approach the end of the school year, it’s time for a little spring cleaning—and that includes our very full Lost & Found! From jackets and sweatshirts to lunchboxes and water bottles, our collection has grown significantly.

We encourage students and families to stop by and take a look for any missing items. All unclaimed belongings will be donated after the last day of school, so be sure to check before it's too late!

Let’s wrap up the year with clear hallways—and reunited items!
