7th Grade News, January 20
From the desk of Chris Howell, 7th Grade Principal
The new semester has begun and mother nature has not been very kind. Please be patient dropping off students in the morning. With the weather, we are experiencing much more parent drop offs than normal. Please be patient. Thank you.

Quick Announcements
- The College Credit Plus informational meeting will be held on January 29th at 6:00pm. This meeting will be virtual and presented by the SHS Counseling Department in conjunction with Cuyahoga Community College. If your student is interested in College Credit Plus and/or new to this program, important information will be shared. The meeting should also be recorded and posted within a week for any families that cannot attend the meeting at that time. The link to the meeting will be posted on the main SHS high school webpage and in your son/daughters Google Classroom closer to the date of the meeting.
- We kindly request that you refrain from using the staff parking lot during arrival and dismissal times for dropping off or picking up your students. Utilizing this area can impede access for buses and staff entering the parking lot, and it raises safety concerns for all students.
Reminder:
Procedure for picking students up early. When picking up your child from school for appointments, not feeling well, or other reasons;
- You will be required to park your car
- Enter the building
- Press the intercom and present your driver's license for identity verification
- Sign out your child on the cart in the vestibule
When that is complete, your student will be called down and sent out to you.
Thanks everyone. Have a wonderful week.
