As we slowly begin to return to a sense of normalcy, we want to express our gratitude for the resilience and patience our community has shown during these times. It has been a challenging period, but together we are moving forward. Grade cards will be going out on October 25th, and we encourage you to take this opportunity to check in on your student’s progress. Whether it’s celebrating achievements or identifying areas for growth, now is the perfect time for reflection and conversation.

This is also a time to think about where we are focusing our efforts. As we balance school, work, and family life, let’s ensure we are spending time where it’s needed most. Whether it’s supporting academic growth, building relationships, or simply taking a moment to rest, prioritizing our well-being is key as we move ahead together. Thank you for your continued dedication and support as we strive to make this school year a success for all.

Sincerely,

GMS Admin Team

GMS Staff Shout Outs GMS Staff Shout Outs

Check out how GMS staff make GMS a great place for students!

Jamel Hall

Being Proactive

Jamel has been an incredible addition to our LRE classrooms! He is very proactive in working with the kids and making sure their needs are met each day. We appreciate him very much!

Keisha Sanders

Being Proactive

Keisha has been so helpful in our LRE rooms when we need an extra hand. I appreciate her willingness to work with our students when she is able to.

Alex Standridge

Being Proactive

Alex is so helpful when we need an extra hand in LRE or need help with afternoon dismissal. She is always willing to jump in wherever needed and I appreciate that so much!

Chris Reid

Synergizing

Chris Reid always puts our students and staff first! On four occasions this week, I sent Chris an email asking him to help with various small tasks (fixing wobbly desks, adjusting thermostats, finding additional spray bottles, moving cases of bottled water). Each time, within minutes, Chris was taking care of the issue. He is always pleasant and looking for ways to help our building run smoothly. Thank you, Chris, for being such a great team member!
