Schools, District Offices to Close for Solar Eclipse

All schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, April 8, 2024, as our state and community prepare for the predicted crowds to witness the total solar eclipse.

Gifted and Talented (Quest) students from Crestwood Elementary School and Ridge Road Elementary School and EAST Tech students from North Little Rock Middle School did a phenomenal job explaining their projects at the Totality STEM Festival, which took place today at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds. More than 40,000 students from schools in all four school districts in the county came together to see STEM achievement in an effort to celebrate the upcoming solar eclipse.

All fifth graders from our district attended the STEM Festival. Some of our high school students served as volunteers.
