Nazareth Catholic Community

Welcome back to those returning, and a special welcome to our new members! We’re glad you’re here! We hope the Nazareth Catholic Community helps you grow in your faith, deepen your relationship with God, and explore your vocation of how you are being called to live in the world. Please join us for Mass on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in Linehan Chapel. If you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, our choir meets every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. We’re always happy to welcome new members. Invite a friend to join you for Mass. All are Welcome!

After Mass this Sunday, stay for a Cupcake and Hot Cocoa Hour. It’s a great way to meet other students, make new friends, and learn more about our Nazareth Catholic community.

As the semester gets busier, remember that our Sunday 7:00 p.m. Mass and Wednesday 12:30 p.m. Mass can help you stay grounded and find perspective. We also offer retreats, trips, and other opportunities for prayer and reflection during the year. Check this e-bulletin each week for updates!

Please know that my office is a safe and confidential place if you need someone to talk with or listen. You can ask me on Sunday to set up a time or email me at jfazio1@naz.edu. My office is in GAC 160, and feel free to stop by and say hello.

Peace and all good,

~ Jamie

The OCIA process, Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, is for those who may be interested in learning more about Catholicism. We will guide inquirers on their journey to a deeper understanding of the Catholic tradition and into full communion in the Catholic Church at the 2027 Easter Vigil. If you are interested in learning more, please email Jamie Fazio at jfazio1@naz.edu.

Eucharistic adoration in a chapel is a Catholic practice where the consecrated bread (the Eucharist) is placed in a special holder called a monstrance for silent prayer and reflection.
