Deeper learning occurs when students engage in challenging tasks, critically analyze information, transfer knowledge, and creatively construct new knowledge and insights. Join Char Shryock and Kelsy Krise as we unpack what rigorous really looks like and sounds like through the lens of a teacher and a student, and explore strategies for incorporating all 4 Depth of Knowledge Levels into instructional planning with intent to ensure all students have opportunities to experience deeper learning. Please bring your teacher guides or a unit that you would like to work with.

Cost: Free for member districts; $89 for non-member districts
Registrants who do not cancel their registration in advance which then result in a "no-show" will be charged $25
A certificate for 5.5 contact hours will be awarded at the end of the workshop.
This workshop counts toward gifted PD hours in gifted competencies A and B.
