School Supplies School Supplies

If you ordered a school supply kit, it will be delivered to your child’s classroom for the first day of school. If you would like to drop off supplies in the Main Office (Door 21) prior to the start of school, please label the supplies with your child’s name and homeroom. We will make sure supplies are delivered. Please feel free to send supplies in a few trips to school. We know carrying boxes of tissues and everything else can be tough.

If you did not order a kit, all of our supply lists are located here -- https://westelementary.wscschools.org/school-resources/school-supply-lists

If you cannot purchase supplies for any reason, do not hesitate to reach out to the Main Office at 716-677-3250. We do not need everything all at once, and we do have access to some extra supplies.

Accurate information on who will use transportation every school year will help us plan routes more efficiently, reduce delays and improve service for the families in our community who utilize our transportation services. Maybe you do not use district transportation? Please consider "opting out" in order to improve efficiency for everyone if this is a service that you do not wish to use. Please see the district transportation communication linked below for more information. Thanks for your consideration.

September 2nd - First Day of School! September 2nd - First Day of School!

On the first day of school, we kindly ask parents to say good-bye at the bus stop or inside the car if you are planning on dropping off. We have over 25 staff members available to help students find their classrooms. Saying good-bye can be tough, but we always do our best to make West Elementary warm and welcoming. (We also need to keep drop off moving along, and we need to limit visitors to the building during arrival.)
