NexTrex Recycling Program
Hi Families,
We have collected 30.85lbs (13 trash bags full) of soft plastics to recycle! We are on our way to collecting 250lbs of soft plastics through the NexTrex Recycling Program! Our mission is to recycle everyday "soft plastics" and turn them into something wonderful for our school. We will receive one item at 250lbs. We get to choose between a life size connect 4, life size jenga, or an outdoor projector. We are also hoping to win a trex bench for the courtyard. Thus far we have collected 30.85lbs. Please keep sending in grocery bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, and other soft plastics. There is a white bin at the front of the school and a bin outside of room 121. We have one year to collect plastics and you can still drop them off over the summer. More details and updates will come out before summer break.
Thanks for your support!

Please notify the office about transportation changes via email at beseagles@glnd.k12.va.us. If you have daily transportation needs, please make sure you provide changes at the beginning of each week for the entire week. Please make sure you have all transportation changes in prior to 1:00 PM, this allows staff time to communicate all necessary changes and avoids confusion when a call is not received. We appreciate your support.
Parents who wish to chaperone a field trip or volunteer regularly in our school must submit to a background check every 2 years using the BIB portal. The process is completely electronic. If you are having problems with the system, contact Demetra Harris at dharris@glnd.k12.va.us.
