Share your gratitude for Park View teachers!
Dear Park View families,
The holiday season is upon us, and PTC would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible teachers and staff at Park View Elementary School for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. To help show our appreciation, we’ve once again organized a holiday gift drive through GiftCrowd—a secure platform that allows Park View families to pool contributions and create meaningful gifts.
How it works:
1) Visit the Park View Dollars 2025 Gift Crowd Page at (or scan QR Code)
https://app.giftcrowd.com/app/join-event/gchJj5UUL5
2) Select the teachers/ staff members you’d like to include.
3) Craft a message from your family/student
4) Make a contribution to their gift
Deadline: 4 pm. December 19. (After this time, GiftCrowd will electronically deliver
all gifts; unfortunately contributions after this time are not possible.)
If you have any questions, please contact wendi.l.egan@gmail.com

Be prepared for winter with accurate contact info, warm clothes
When school buildings need to close due to extreme weather, information will be released through a phone message, as well as the district’s website (www.ccsd89.org) and Facebook page (facebook.com/CCSD89). The district’s messaging system uses contact info supplied by guardians, so it is important you contact the school secretary and update your records if they have changed.
Even when school is open, students should dress for the cold. Students will continue to go outside for recess as long as the weather remains above 10 degrees. If your family needs winter clothing, our school can help; please call the school’s main number and ask for our school’s social worker.
