54 teams participated in the ninth annual Governor’s STEM Competition, designing and building solutions to problems impacting the Commonwealth. We applaud all the students' efforts, and congratulate the winning teams. Division 1 teams had a majority of returning members and Division 2 teams had a majority of new members.

• CS Innovations (for IU TaC)

We are finalizing dates for this series designed for IU TaC to explore foundational CS concepts and practices with hands-on activities and resources that remove barriers for students with disabilities. Please contact Jeremy Gabborin (jgabborin@pattan.net) about potential conflicts or suggestions regarding these tentative dates: Oct. 12* pm, Nov. 9 pm, Dec. 14 full-day, Feb. 15 pm. *A ½ day AM session will also be held for extended support with basic programming skills.

Registration is open for the fifth annual Pennsylvania Computer Science For All (CSforAllPA) Summit, held June 22-23, 2022 at PaTTAN Harrisburg and online.

Counselors 4 Computing at the Summit

During the Summit, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, NCWIT Counselors 4 Computing and Pennsylvania School Counselors Association will host workshops to increase counselors' understanding of CS career pathways, expand their CS skills, and explore ways to expand CS learning for underrepresented students. Act 48 credit and daily stipends are available. Eligible participants will also receive reimbursement for travel expenses. Registration is now open; additional information is available in the digital flyer linked below.
