Message for the Week: Message for the Week:

    Message from Mr. Tejkl

    Overcoming Change...

    Good morning!

Happy Sunday and weekend to you all! I hope you are having a fantastic day and didn't melt too much on Saturday. Shout out to our staff as there is so many great things that happen within our classrooms and outside of the classroom. The lessons are great but what is better is the connections that you see when you walk the hallways. It is a great reminder that you are doing amazing things and what you think maybe small interactions are making a big impact.

As the first quarter nearly comes to a close, it is a great time to remind ourselves on our prime purpose in our life. We all have our own goals and ambitions, but when it comes down to it, our purpose is to help others. Whether those individuals are asking or you see it, your kindness goes a long way. This is not only through our actions but with our words as well.

We are all flying around and on the move. There are many emotions that go through our day and it can be a rollercoaster of a day. I encourage us all to be able to nestle out some time for you, take a step back if needed, breathe, and then move forward. We strive to do our best for our students and our communities. There are time where tough decisions are made but we do our best to make sure that we are taking in all the data we can, discuss every possible outcome, and then execute a plan. Could it be a disaster? Absolutely but we go back to the drawing board and try again. Naysayers will always be out there but know we respect all within our building and throughout our communities. In the end; be kind, be present, and be a part of something great.

I challenge you to reach out a helping hand to those around you but to also, if needed, take a hand that is offered to you.

Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them."

    Dalai Lama

    Sincerely,

    Tucker Tejkl
