π A Note From Dr. Natalie Miller
Dear Lilyana Elementary Families,
As we move into the final weeks of the year, I am thrilled to share that next week is going to be packed with festive fun and community spirit! We are continuing our 12 Days of Holiday Fun Dress-Up Days, giving students a chance to show their holiday spirit every day. We also look forward to celebrating the season with the beautiful voices of our students at the 5th Grade Choir Concert. Finally, please contribute to our Giving Drive as we work together to support those in need in our community. I wish everyone a wonderful and spirited week ahead!
Warmly,
Dr. Natalie Miller
Principal

Prosper ISD will administer the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) to second and fourth grade students district-wide in December. The CogAT is a norm-referenced, standardized test measuring learned reasoning and problem-solving skills in three different areas: verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal. Reasoning skills develop gradually throughout a person's lifetime and at different rates for different individuals. CogAT result information is used by teachers to better understand a studentβs ability in relation to his or her achievement.
- Our campus dates are: 2nd Grade - December 8th - 10th & 4th Grade - December 10th
There is no need to prepare for this test. You can support your child by making sure they are rested and well-fed on the day of the test.
GT Referral Window is open through January 16, 2026. If you feel your child is consistently demonstrates gifted learner characteristics and has instructional needs that go beyond he rigor of the general education classroom, please submit your referral form by January 16, 2026. The form can be found on the Gifted and Talented page.
Students on the referral list will be evaluated during the spring semester. Results will be shared in April for services to begin in August 2026.

π Our Lilyana Story
Together We Champion
Together We Empower
Our incredible Lilyana Student Council is leading a campuswide Giving Drive to support Lovepacs, an organization that provides essential items to students and families in need during school breaks. We are so proud of our student leaders for championing this effort and modeling service, compassion, and leadership for our entire campus.
Beginning Monday, we invite our Lilyana families to join us in donating items that directly support children in our community. We are collecting both hygiene items and non-perishable food items, which will be used to create care packages for local families.
