Dear Horizon Families,

As we step into September, we’re filled with excitement for all the growth, learning, and community moments ahead. Thank you for your continued support as we journey together in creating a vibrant and enriching school year.

MAP Testing began last week, but due to unexpected reasons, we were not able to complete all sessions. Testing will continue and finish this week. Thank you for your patience and support as we ensure every student has the opportunity to complete their assessments.

• Starting this month, students will be allowed to participate in Free Dress Day on the last Friday of every month.

Dear Horizon Families,

Starting this month, we are using Mersys to track and share student behavior with the new Behavior Report feature.

• Students start at 0 points. Positive behaviors (PBA) add points, while negative behaviors (RP) subtract points.

• Positive points can cover negative points, and points can be redeemed at the PBA Store. Repeated negative points may result in consequences.

• Parents will receive automatic email notifications for each behavior entry, including the teacher, class, comment, and updated total points.

This system helps celebrate positive choices while keeping parents informed and engaged in their child’s growth.

Girls Volleyball 2025 Season
We are proud of our Middle School Girls Volleyball team for their dedication and teamwork!

  We are 2 for 2! Step by step, we’re growing stronger together, becoming a real team, improving every game, and most importantly, learning. A strong sports culture is taking root here at Horizon, and we couldn’t be prouder. 💪
  Congratulations to our team! This victory is the true result of dedication and teamwork!

Dear Parents, Please review and complete the Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medication Authorization Form. This form ensures we have your consent to administer common medications to your child during school hours if needed. Review, sign, and return the form so it is ready in your student’s file.
