Ashland Preschool Update

Hello Preschool Families,

Thank you to all of our families who joined us for our “Out of This World” Open House! We hope you enjoyed seeing the amazing work your child has been creating, as well as exploring the incredible projects and creations throughout each classroom. It was such a special evening to celebrate all of our students’ hard work and creativity together.

We also hope you had fun participating alongside your child in the scavenger hunt, movement activities in the gym, and the sensory experiences in the café. It was wonderful to see so many families engaged and enjoying the activities together!

We also want to wish our very own Mrs. Barry the best of luck as she runs the Boston Marathon on Monday—we will be cheering her on!

As a reminder, there will be no school next week, April 20th–24th, for school vacation. As we look ahead, we invite all students to participate in a Comfy Clothes Day on Monday, April 27th, to help ease back into our school routine after vacation.

Wishing all of our families a wonderful and relaxing week spent together.

Please join us for a Caregiver Coffee with Warren Principal Peter Regan and Special Education Coordinator Kathryn Bent. This is a wonderful opportunity for Pittaway families who have a child attending Warren next year to ask questions and learn more about the transition to kindergarten.

We currently have a waitlist for all our classes for the 26/27 school year, except for our 4-day 3-year-old AM class. If you are interested in signing up for this option, please send your application to Donna Pederson dpederson@ashland.k12.ma.us

If your child receives a placement through Special Education, the Teams will be making recommendations during upcoming IEP meetings and will communicate that with you.

May 29: End-of-Year/Welcome Picnic 5pm-7pm

June 18: Last day for all students not graduating- Normal schedule for all classes

June 22: Graduation 10:30am

June 23: Orientation for new families 9:00am-10:00am for AM Session and 11:00am-12:00pm for PM and Full Day Session
