Take Your Children to Work Day - April 23, 2026

The fourth Thursday in April of each year has been designated as Take Our Children to Work Day. The program was created as an educational experience for our children. It provides an opportunity for our children to become more aware of their parents’ work day and encourages them to think about their futures.

Students in our school system who participate in this program will be considered on a field trip and will not be marked absent for the day.

Parents/guardians must send a note to CLESAbsence@hcpss.org clearly stating that their child participated in Take Your Children to Work Day to be marked present for the day. Notes must be submitted no later than Thursday, April 30th for the absence to be excused as a field trip.

With appreciation and Dolphin Pride,

Debra A. Anoff, Principal

Siobhan Drumgoole, Assistant Principal
