This year the Herbert Hoover PTO provided the funds for three high school seniors to receive $500.00 college scholarships.

All of the former Hoover Hawks who were considered for these scholarships worked really hard this year. It was very difficult to select the recipients of these scholarship awards!

The PTO selected the following former Hoover Hawks to receive scholarship awards:

Alex Deache

Sarah Omietanski

Stanley Omietanski

Congratulations to all of the Neshaminy Seniors! The Herbert Hoover PTO wishes you all continued success throughout your college careers and beyond! Please remember that "once you are a Hoover Hawk, you are always a Hoover Hawk!" We are very proud of all of your combined accomplishments at Neshaminy High School!

Title I Plan for 2020-2021:

The parents, teachers, staff members, and administrators who are members of the Title I Planning Team have reviewed the Hoover Elementary School Report on the PA Future Ready Index website. They have also reviewed all available student data. The Title I Planning Team has determined that Hoover will focus on three goals for the 2020-2021 school year:

  • Implement the Ready Math Program to Help Students Master the Math Standards
  • Use ELA and Math Data to Differentiate Instruction based on Student Need
  • Implement a Multi-Tiered System of Support to Provide Research-Based Interventions to Assist Students with their Academic and Behavioral Needs

Upcoming Events and Summer Office Hours:

During the month of July, Mrs. Chrobak and Dr. G. will work at home on Mondays and Fridays. They will be at Hoover on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm.

In order to ensure that we minimize the number of people in the office at one time, Mrs. Chrobak and Dr. G. will attempt to conduct as much business as possible via the phone, email, and Zoom. If you need to stop by Hoover to pick up student belongings, or to meet with Dr. G., please call or email in advance to set up an appointment.

  • July 27 - September 1 - Students should read for at least 30 minutes a day
  • July 30 - 3:00 pm - All student belongings that have not been picked up at Hoover will be donated to a local charity
