THANK YOU to Elie Simonson, Heather Hendrickson, Samantha Navarro, Kelly Schneider, Brittany Sievert, and Megan Worthington for serving on our Nominating committee for the 2025-2026 executive board. They met 2 times and worked to create a slate for the next school year. We appreciate your efforts and time and look forward to the presentation of the slate at our next PTA meeting on March 12.

From the NOMINATING COMMITTEE: The nomination process to elect the 2025-2026 Patton PTA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE is underway!

Please seriously consider who you know (friends, neighbors, even yourself!) who might be qualified to serve in the following positions:

*President-Elect (you must have previously served as a PTA Committee Chair)

*2nd VP of Ways and Means (no prerequisites)

*Secretary(no prerequisites)

Also, please mark your calendars for the March 12th PTA Meeting for the Presentation of the Slate & the May 14th PTA meeting, when the new Executive COMMITTEE will be voted in.

Are you ready to Pack the Piggy, Patton? The Arlington Heights Council of PTA’s (AHC-PTA) funds $15k annually in scholarships for former D25 graduating seniors in D214. This year, the AHC-PTA will be running it’s 4th “Pack the Piggies” fundraiser across the district to raise money for these scholarships.

The contest begins March 10 and goes through March 14, which gives us 5 days to pack our piggy to reach our goal! Each district school’s goal is to raise $1 per student. Our school's goal is $378. If we reach our school goal, there will be a prize awarded to all students (more details to come). To help reach our goal, students can bring in coins, cash, or checks (made out to the AHC-PTA) and pack our piggy! Let’s have some fun for a great cause starting Monday, March 10!

Please help me congratulate these Patton Panthers on their PTA Reflections projects moving on to STATE from the Region Level! We are so proud of their creativity and hard work.

All parents are invited and encouraged to attend - we'd love to see you there! Even if you've never attended before, please consider attending! Your participation and presence makes a difference! Come see all that we do and learn more about where our budget goes, upcoming activities, hear from Mrs. Chin, and more. We promise we won’t make you volunteer for anything unless you want to! After the meeting, join us for a meetup somewhere fun to be social and meet some new people. Hope to see many of your faces there!

The League of Women Voters is hosting non-partisan Candidate Forms for residents to become informed before the election this spring. Those in attendance are welcome to submit questions to the candidates or just listen!
