Cahaba Kindergarten Hosts Enchanting Annual Fairy Tale Ball
Kindergarten students at Cahaba recently celebrated the conclusion of their annual Fairy Tale Unit with a magical Fairy Tale Ball. Throughout the unit, students explored fairy tales in a multidisciplinary way by solving math problems, creating art inspired by stories, and reading a variety of classic and modern fairy tales.
For the ball, students dressed as their favorite fairy tale characters and were introduced to family and friends in full costume. Adding to the excitement, the event was emceed by Chad Summers, the “Voice of the Huskies”, who guided the students through the festivities with charm and energy.
The celebration concluded with a traditional touch, as kindergarten students danced gracefully to the minuet, bringing the fairy tale experience to life for everyone in attendance. It was a delightful and memorable way for our youngest learners to showcase their creativity, knowledge, and love of storytelling.
