Hamilton Happenings
Hamilton Elementary Goes All Out to Engage Students in Learning!
Students will be welcomed into school on Wednesday, October 14th with a BIG SURPRISE!! I can't give away our theme... but I invite students to wear bright colors to school on Wednesday because they will enjoy a day of learning through FUN!!! It's ROCK YOUR SCHOOL... at Hamilton! Last year's theme was Under the Sea!!
Let's partner to support learning...
We encourage you to sign-up for a fall conference to partner in your child's learning this school year. We would like to show you what your child is learning, where we look forward to helping them grow, and setting goals together. Get signed up at www.myconferencetime.com/Hamilton.
And thank YOU for all of the candy donations and gift baskets!
We love our Hamilton Hoopla, which welcomed us into the fall season with candy, games... and costumes. It was a great community event with the Waste Management garbage truck (Thank you, former Hamilton parent Justin Lundeen), the Coon Rapids Fire Department, and Coon Rapids Police, Popcorn and Hot Dogs (Thanks to the Zdon family, also a former Hamilton family), Color Me Impressed tattoos (Ms. Shadey Durant, Hamilton family), along with so many families, staff, and friends hosting Trunks with Treats!! We appreciate our PTO for organizing the event, finding volunteers, hosting games, and bringing the fun! It was a GREAT DAY with our families!
We would love to help you get involved at Hamilton. There are projects to do from home, at school, fieldtrips, and events... there are so many ways to get involved. Thank you for your interest in helping! Rose McVey, Volunteer Services Coordinator
