A message from the Principal

🚀 Welcome Back, Rocket Families!

We are so excited to welcome our Rocket families to the 2026–2027 school year! It was great to see everyone at PK/Kinder Camp and Meet the Teacher Night!

We received the great news that our campus has received an "A" rating overall and in all accountability domains as well as all 6 distinctions!! ⭐. This is a direct reflection of all the hard work and dedication from our students, staff and parents. We are excited to get the year started to do it all over again!

Each month, we will use Smore to keep our families informed about school-wide news and events. Please take a few moments to read through it for important campus information, upcoming events, reminders, and dates to remember. Classroom-specific information and updates will continue to come directly from your child’s teacher through the McAllen ISD App in the Rooms section so please make sure to download it.

Please have patience these first few days and weeks as we have our new families learn our drop off and pick up procedures.

I am honored to be able to serve our Rayburn Community and I thank you for choosing Rayburn Elementary and for trusting us with your child each day. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, memorable experiences, and Rocket pride!

Ready to make 2026–2027 an incredible year! 🚀🧡💙

Sincerely,
Mrs. Clarissa Partida
