Nike Weekly Scout Report

Good afternoon Nike families,

It has been a wonderful first week of school. Students are getting into their daily routine.

Last night your child brought home a purple Thursday folder. In their folder, you will find a Weekend backpack form. Please turn those into the office if you need support.

More information will be shared at a later date, but I'd like to let you know we will have a Grandparent Event on Thursday, Sept. 18th in the afternoon. A flyer will be sent home next week in your child's Thursday folder.

Please consider donating gently used clothing to Nike Elementary for kids who need a change of clothes when accidents happen. Any season attire is welcome. Drop off items at the main office. Thank you for your generosity!

Please make sure Donations are:

• Clean (please wash clothing before donating)

• New and gently used (clothing that could be shared with family or friends)

• No rips, no tears, no stains, no holes

• Nothing personalized (with name, etc)

Nike has an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The organization has traditionally sponsored activities such as Movie Night, Breakfast with Santa, Trivia Night, and fundraisers to support the school. This year we are planning to hold similar events.

The Nike food pantry is very bare. If your family is able to donate items, it would be greatly appreciated.
