Badger F.A.C.E. Newsletter

I would like to welcome you back to the new school year. My name is Sharon Smith and I am your FACE coordinator for the 2021-2022 school year. I would like to invite you out to Drew Academy to become a part of our Parent and Family Engagement Committee. This committee will provide important feedback on how best to work with our students, parents and faculty. It will allow parents to be apart of the decision making process and create an academic parent teacher team that will make our students stronger both academically, socially and emotionally.

Aldine ISD will offer the Family and Community University to all families in the district. Through an innovative program, Aldine parents will have the opportunity to attend sessions that will help them provide support to their students at home and allow them to learn other academic areas.

The Family and Community University will offer a variety of sessions on Community, Academic Life, Continuing Education, and Well-Being & Social Interaction.

Families are invited to attend one of the two informational sessions that will be held at the Child Nutrition Center in September. For more information, you can contact Ivan Tamayo (281)985-3786.
