Sacajawea Middle School

Tuesday, October 29 at 3:50, our Warriors will be playing Illahee for the district championship at HOME! Both teams are undefeated. We expect a large turn-out - Hundreds. Please consider attending the game to cheer for our Warriors. We have hired extra security to ensure a safe and pleasant spectator environment. There is limited seating. I recommend you bring a chair. GO WARRIORS!

If you have not scheduled an appointment with your evaluator for your annual goal-setting meeting, please do so ASAP! All goal-setting meetings must be complete by October 31.

This Wednesday, Amanda Staley and Amber Thompson will be leading a training on AVID binders - What are they? Why is it important? It does not matter if you've received AVID training or not. All are invited! The training will begin in the library at 2:00. This is a school-wide strategy we've adopted to support ALL students on their pathway to high achievement.

Our first all-school social of the year is Thursday! School socials can be a major ASB fundraiser. Successful school social are dependent on many, many volunteers. Please consider volunteering! See Tracy Trivitt's email for more details.

Please send SLC info home with students this week during Advisory. Staff vote was to reserve hours for families on Wednesday evening, all day and evening on Thursday, and a short time Friday morning. Please send a copy of your SLC schedule to Moni when completed. If you would like admin present a conference, Mike and I would be happy to be there.
