The News
Happy Sunday to you all. I hope are having a nice, cool Fall weekend for a change. Just a reminder, Monday will be a half day for students. We will dismiss school at 11:30am.
Our football team had a great Senior Night beating Sheffield 62-40. They remained tied for first place in the region with the final region game coming on the road at Falkville Friday night. We celebrated 25 outstanding senior football players, cheerleaders and band members prior to the game Friday night.
Our volleyball team played final game of the season losing to 10th ranked Cold Springs 3-1 who ended up losing to 5th ranked Carbon Hill in the finals. They finished the season 19-21, tripling their record from last year and finishing runner up in the Franklin County Tournament. Congratulations to Lily Tittle and Ragan Moss on being name All-Area.
Basketball tips off this week with a home game against Haleyville on Tuesday and road trips to Covenant Christian and Red Bay Thursday and Saturday.

PHIL CAMPBELL, ARE YOU READY FOR SOMETHING SPOOKTACULAR?!
The Phil Campbell High School Drama Department is proud to present our first-ever…
SPOOKTACULAR IN THE SQUARE!
Friday, October 30, 2026 setup starting at 3:45 event official start at 5:00 pm
Phil Campbell High School Square and back parking lot
FREE ADMISSION — OPEN TO EVERYONE!
We’re working hard to create a fun-filled Halloween evening for our students, families, and the entire community! Imagine an evening filled with spooky lighting, rolling fog, Halloween sights and sounds, delicious concessions, and some exciting entertainment provided by our talented drama students!
But we have an idea that could make this night even MORE special, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
CALLING ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS, CHURCHES, BUSINESSES, CLUBS, AND ORGANIZATIONS!
We are exploring the possibility of adding a TRUNK-OR-TREAT in the back parking lot as part of our Spooktacular celebration!
We would LOVE to have members of our community decorate their vehicles, bring candy, and help us provide a fun and memorable Halloween experience for children and families.
Would YOU, your church, business, organization, or family be interested in participating?
If so, PLEASE let us know!
Email: jonathangrimes@franklin.k12.al.us
At this point, we’re simply trying to gauge community interest to see if we can make the Trunk-or-Treat happen. The more participation we have, the bigger and better we can make this event!
OUR BIGGER DREAM…
We don’t want Spooktacular in the Square to be just another school event. We want it to become a community tradition — something our children, families, and neighbors look forward to year after year!
We would love to see our schools, local businesses, churches, organizations, and families come together to make this a special evening for Phil Campbell.
And who knows? If our community embraces this event, we might just have another special celebration in the works for CHRISTMAS?
MORE DETAILS COMING IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS!
In the meantime, please LIKE, SHARE, AND TAG anyone you think might want to participate in our Trunk-or-Treat!
Let’s come together, Phil Campbell, and make our first SPOOKTACULAR IN THE SQUARE a night to remember!
