Spring is finally here! Spring Break will provide a wonderful opportunity for families to rest, reset, and enjoy some of the warmer weather heading our way. As we return, we are excited to jump into the final quarter of the school year—a season that always seems to fly by, filled with learning, growth, and special end-of-year moments.
April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible impact of our volunteers. Our school simply would not be the same without the dedication, time, and care that our families and community members give so generously. Whether you are helping in classrooms, supporting events, or volunteering behind the scenes, you help create a safe, joyful, and enriching environment for our students. Thank you for being such an essential part of our Silver Firs community.
As we head into the busy spring months, we also want to revisit an important topic—parking lot safety. Our arrival and dismissal times continue to be high-traffic moments, and it is critical that all families follow established procedures. Please use designated crosswalks, follow staff directions, avoid passing other vehicles, and drive slowly and patiently. These expectations are in place to protect everyone—especially our students and safety patrol members.
We truly appreciate the many families who consistently model safe and respectful behavior. By working together and staying mindful, we can ensure that every student arrives and leaves school safely each day. Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to keeping our community safe.
