End of Semester Notes
As stated in last week's e News - the teachers have been working diligently with their students to prepare them for the final week of semester one. Some teachers are doing a traditional final exam, some are doing final presentations and others are using the time to begin new material for next semester. By now your child's teacher has communicated what they can expect from their class in regards to the tasks for this final's week. Please know that the teachers make decisions for each of the their classes in regards to what work can be submitted late or resubmitted for consideration and whether classes have extra credit opportunities. There is not school wide protocol and there should be no expectation from students that all teachers allow these adjustments in their classes. Again your student should already know these protocols for each of their teacher's classes.
Tuesday class periods are 1, 2 and 4
Wednesday class periods are 5, 6, and 8
Thursday class periods are 3 and 7
Please help your child with time management this week so they are rested and ready to attend to the end of semester tasks each class will have them complete this week.

FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE
January 25th – Exam Day #1
Period 1- 9:00 to 10:45
Break 10:45 to 11:00
Period 2 - 11:05 to 12:50
Lunch 12:50 to 1:25
Period 4 - 1:30 to 3:15
Buses arrive at 3:15/depart at 3:23
January 26th – Exam Day #2
Period 5 - 9:00 to 10:45
Break 10:45 to 11:00
Period 6 - 11:05 to 12:50
Lunch 12:50 to 1:25
Period 8 - 1:30 to 3:15
Buses arrive at 3:15/depart at 3:23
January 27th – Exam Day #3
Period 3 - 9:00 to 10:45
Break 10:45 to 11:00
Period 7 - 11:05 to 12:50
No lunch service in the cafeteria
Buses arrive at 12:55
Prearranged/makeup exam 1:20 to 3:05
(Must be arranged prior to finals; students cannot miss a final and then expect to make it up during this time period without prior approval)
**Please arrange for transportation if you have a makeup exam***
Buses will run at their regular scheduled times in the mornings and Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Thursday afternoon the busses will take students home at 12:55
No School on Friday, January 28th (Grade Prep Day)
ATTENDANCE DURING FINALS SCEDULE
Students will not be pulled from class mid period during this special schedule for end of semester exam and tasks. If a student has an appointment or you must pick them up for any reason they will need to make that transition off campus between exam sessions. We give every effort during this week to eliminate distractions for our students, therefore we do not excuse students mid period.
Also Note:
Students who arrive to class after the start of the exam session may not be admitted to the class during that testing session. Again they will be admitted to classes at the period breaks only. If they arrive late for a class they will need to head to the cafeteria after checking in at the office to study quietly. Arrangements with the teacher will then need to made for making up any task from that missed period.
