Principal Message Principal Message

This week sure proved Wildwood Wally's predictions about us not being out of winter yet correct.

On Tuesday we had hot lunch sponsored by Sammy's restaurant. On Wednesday, we welcomed back Mrs. Chechotko, this time with our K/1 class. She is in the last practicum of her university program for teaching.

Thursday we had no busses and limited students. I attended virtual DLT focused on school safety and procedures.

Friday, we were back to a regular day full of learning and fun.

Next week we have a five day week. Wednesday is Pink Shirt day, a day in which we recognize the harms of bullying and the role we can all have in stopping its spread. School Council will also be putting on pancake breakfast.

Thursday grade 4-6 basketball gets started, we have sent home the sheets for both grade 4-6 and 1-3 basketball. 1-3 gets started a little later on. Thank you Miss Weninger for your constant dedication to arranging sports for our students.

Please as always feel free to reach out regarding any questions or concerns by calling the school at 780-325-3858 or emailing me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.

Sincerely,

Alan Stoyles

FOPLS FOPLS

Our students from Evansview, Wildwood, and Grand Trunk High School are coming together under one roof — and we want to make sure they have a playground that brings them together too!

The Friends of Pembina Learning Society (FOPLS) is running a raffle fundraiser to help create a fun, safe, and engaging space where kids can play, grow, and make memories for years to come.

Your support will help make this playground a place our children are proud to call their own!
