Parents, Guardians and Citizens in the community who voluntarily contribute their time and talents to the improvement and enrichment of our students, make a significant contribution to student success.

Next Steps

Human Resources will obtain the criminal history background check for potential volunteers (except underage applicants). Upon of the review of the criminal history, a decision will be made to approve or deny the volunteer for participation. A notification will be sent to the schools for which you are looking to volunteer.

IPS has recently made changes to the Background Check process, and they no longer filter applications by school. As a result, we are unable to identify who has submitted a Background Check to volunteer at Edison. To ensure we can promptly notify you when the check is returned, please complete the following questions, and we will actively monitor for your name. Thank you!
