90 Second Idea: Keep Cleaning Up After Your Oxen
Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean,
but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.
-Proverbs 14:4
Keep scooping the stalls. The results are worth it!

A Taste of Reading in Fourth Grade!
Mrs. Barker and Mrs. Norris’ fourth-grade classes recently enjoyed a fun and engaging Book Tasting! A book tasting is a special opportunity for students to explore a variety of books, sample different genres, and discover new stories they might enjoy reading.
During the activity, students rotated through different book selections, taking time to preview the covers, read the summaries, and sample a few pages of each book. Just like tasting new foods, students had the chance to try something different and decide which books sparked their interest. And, of course, no book tasting would be complete without snacks! Students enjoyed tasty treats as they explored their reading choices and shared in the fun.
The goal of a book tasting is to encourage students to step outside their usual reading choices, explore different authors and genres, and develop a love for reading. By the end of the activity, students had discovered new possibilities for their next great read!
We love seeing our fourth graders explore new books, share their interests, and grow as readers. Who knows? Their next favorite book may have been one they discovered during this special reading experience!
