Red Ribbon Week!
Don't forget, Red Ribbon Week is THIS WEEK! Please see the image below for the dress up day themes. Just a reminder, Friday is storybook character day. Please have your child pick something from a storybook they enjoy, but do not send props. Thanks for your help with this!
Attendance Reminders
Please Call the Office
If your student is going to be absent, please call the front office and let them know. Our number is 817.245.3900. It is helpful to tell teachers so they are aware, but it is vital you let the front office know. Thank you for your help in this matter.
Tardy Bell is at 7:40
Class starts at 7:40, when the tardy bell rings. If your child comes in after this time, you must bring them to the front office to sign them in. Tardies count towards absences, so please make sure your students make it to school on time.
Attendance Law
Texas state law requires that a student must attend at least 90% of classes in order to receive credit for those classes. Absences, tardies, and early dismissals all count towards this amount of time. There is a possibility that your child will have to make up credit hours if they exceed 18 absent days or parts of days for the school year.

Everyone has a story to tell, and filmmaking can provide an outlet and a fun way to share ideas and creativity. Students with access to an iPhone, Android, Chromebook, iPad, tablet, or high-quality equipment have the tools to plan, shoot, and edit short films! Our Toys for Tots drive has begun! We have a collection box on campus, if you would like to participate. Just send a new, unwrapped toy to school to donate!
