Mill Valley Weekly

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Our dedicated teachers have been diligently working to finalize report cards, which will be available for viewing on December 10th in Infinite Campus. A paper copy will also be sent home with your child.

Mill Valley is hitting the ground running with lots of fun and engaging activities for our staff and students this month! Here are some of the things we are looking forward to...

• Having fun with the 12 Days of Giving & Holiday Spirit
• Door decorating contest

• Holiday Shop this Saturday (sponsored by PTO, see flyer below)
• Winter Concert on Tuesday, 12/17 (see times for AM and PM concert below)

• December Birthday table on Thursday, 12/19
• All School Sing Along on Friday, 12/20
• WINTER BREAK - December 23rd - January 1st (return to school January 2nd)

We love this time of year, full of energy and smiles while still staying engaged in learning. We hope you have a fun month as well!

Sincerely,

Allyce & Julie

Third Grade Student Council has started a Recycle Club. Members gave a presentation to each classroom about recycling and placed reminder signs around the school. They take the recycling out once a week. The Golden Recycle Bin winners are selected and announced at Golden Awards by the Student Council members.

It is essential that you remain parked until the bell rings at 3:45 pm.

• Pulling out early from parking stalls in the parking lot blocks staff, buses and other families from exiting the lot.
• Attempting to pull out prior to 3:45 pm causes Hillendale Drive to be blocked to thru traffic.

Be sure to share this important information with other family members who may be picking up your student at the end of day.

Many parents have asked for a Mill Valley Family Directory of students and their families. Please fill out THIS FORM if you would like to be included, no later than December 9th.

• If you have more than 1 child, you must complete a survey for each child.
• If there are 2 households, you may submit a survey for each household.
