Celebrating Growth on the MAP Assessment

Dear Bellerive Families,

I am proud to share Bellerive’s scores on the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) from this past spring. The test is taken by students in grades 3-5, and Bellerive's scores increased in ELA, Math, and Science!

English Language Arts (ELA) rose from 52.1% to 59.9% proficient or advanced.
Math rose from 50.2% to 55.3%.
Science (5th grade only) showed the largest growth, from 41.5% to 56.5%.

These gains are the result of the incredible work of our students, staff, and families. Our students showed perseverance and dedication. Our teachers and support staff provided high-quality instruction and targeted interventions. Families supported learning at home and partnered with us in powerful ways.

At Bellerive, we know that growth happens when everyone works together. We will continue to build on this success through our MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) processes, ensuring every student receives the right instruction, intervention, and enrichment to meet their needs.

Our teachers and staff will continue working side by side with students, and families to help every child grow and succeed!

How Do I View My Child's Results?

Last week, current 4th and 5th grade families should have received an email with the MAP results. In that message, it was shared that a more detailed report will be available in Infinite Campus soon. Once the new reports are ready, you will receive detailed instructions on how to access and view them.

Last Week's Picnic

Thank you to our PTO for organizing the back-to-school picnic on Friday! It was a great way to start the holiday weekend, and I appreciate the many families who were able to attend. It was so fun to see kids across grade levels playing with each other while adults connected with friends new and old. Events like these are part of what makes Bellerive such a special school community!

I hope to see parents and guardians (grades 1-5 only) on Thursday evening for our annual Open House event. The format and schedule is below. (The Kindergarten Parent Orientation before school started was held in place of Open House for Kindergarten families.)
