Weekly Highlights
Kindergarten Field Trip Recap: Kroll Pumpkin Farm! π
Our Kindergarten students had a wonderful time on their very first field trip of the school year! They visited Kroll Pumpkin Farm, where they had fun navigating a corn maze while practicing their counting skills by keeping track of all the scarecrows they could find.
During the hayride, the students learned all about farm life and how different crops are grown. Some of the fun and educational topics covered included:
Pumpkins, Corn & Gourds: Learning about different farm crops.
Pollination: Discovering how honeybees and wind help plants grow.
Farming Practices: Exploring crop rotation and the difference between hay and straw.
Classroom Update: Celebrating Red Ribbon Week! π
Friday was such a wonderful day! We wrapped up Red Ribbon Week with fun classroom celebrations throughout the day.
A Big Thank You: We are so grateful to all of our amazing families who donated items to make our celebrations so special. We truly appreciate your generosity and support!
Home Connection: Ask your little one about their favorite activity from Red Ribbon Week!
Attendance Matters: Every Day Counts!
Did you know that missing just 2 days of school a month adds up to 20 days a year?
That is a full month of lost learning! Consistent daily attendance helps our students build strong reading skills, stay connected with friends, and feel confident in their daily routines. Thank you for partnering with us to get your child to school on time, every day!
Important Details for Parents
Snacks & Allergy Safety: Due to food allergies, please contact your child's teacher for approval before sending any snacks or treats to school.
Cooler Weather Gear: As the weather cools down, please make sure your child brings a light jacket or sweatshirt to school each day so they stay warm during outdoor recess.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership!
