Celebrating Our Noticing Journey Celebrating Our Noticing Journey

Keep Noticing!

As part of celebrating and culminating our school-wide Noticing theme, inspired by Noticing by Kobi Yamada, all students received a pair of school-branded sunglasses on Monday, June 22. The sunglasses were presented during a year-end assembly as a fun way to celebrate a year of learning and to kick off the start of summer break.

Throughout the year, students were encouraged to slow down, look closely, and appreciate the people, opportunities, and moments that make learning and life meaningful. By taking the time to notice, students discovered new perspectives, deepened their understanding, strengthened relationships, and found ways to make a positive difference in our school community.

We hope the sunglasses inspire students to carry the spirit of Noticing with them throughout the summer and beyond. They are a reminder to:

👀 Look closely
🌎 Notice the world around them
💡 Stay curious and open to new possibilities
❤️ Appreciate and connect with others
☀️ Enjoy their summer adventures

If your child was absent on June 22, please have them stop by the school office at the beginning of the new school year to pick up their sunglasses.

Farewell to Our Grade 6 Wolverines Farewell to Our Grade 6 Wolverines

Over the last few weeks, we have celebrated our incredible Grade 6 Wolverines and all they have achieved during their time at Woodbridge Farms Elementary. From academic accomplishments to personal growth and lasting friendships, we are so proud of each and every one of them.

As they head off to junior high in August, we wish them all the best in this exciting next chapter. They will be deeply missed and we hope they always carry fond memories of their time at Woodbridge Farms.

We love hearing how our former students are doing, so be sure to visit us. Once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine.
