We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer filled with rest, laughter, and special memories with family and friends. Summer is a time to recharge, explore, and enjoy the moments that matter most, and we hope it has been a season of joy for each of you.

While you've been making memories, our team has been hard at work preparing for an incredible school year! Every hallway, classroom, and learning space is being readied to welcome our Patriots back as we begin another exciting journey of Soaring to New Heights.

Our amazing custodial team has done an outstanding job making our school shine from top to bottom, creating a welcoming environment where every student can learn and grow. Our teachers have already begun working in their classrooms, planning engaging lessons, and preparing to welcome your children with excitement and care. We are also thrilled to welcome several new members to our staff. They are eager to join our Flight Crew and become part of the Jessie Mae Monroe family, and we can't wait for you to meet them!

Summer Immunization Clinics Available for Students Entering Kindergarten, 7th and 12th Grade

Brunswick County Health Services will offer two evening immunization clinics this summer for students entering kindergarten, 7th grade and 12th grade.

The clinics will be held by appointment only on Thursday, July 23, and Thursday, August 20, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Brunswick County Health Services, located at 25 Courthouse Drive, Building A, in Bolivia.

Students entering kindergarten must have the required DTaP/IPV, MMR and varicella immunizations. Students entering 7th grade must receive the required Tdap and meningococcal vaccines, while students entering 12th grade must receive a second meningococcal vaccine.

Students who do not receive the required immunizations before entering 7th or 12th grade risk exclusion from school.

Appointments are required for both evening clinics. Parents and guardians should call Brunswick County Health Services at 910-253-2250 to schedule an appointment. Those unable to attend either clinic may call the same number to schedule an appointment during regular clinic hours or contact their student’s primary healthcare provider.
