TIMER ASSIGNMENTS
Our team has to time during all 11&UP Sessions!
ALL FAMILIES MUST TIME UNLESS YOU ARE AN OFFICIAL (or Amy who is about to pop at any moment). Text Coach Marissa or the groupme to claim an event slot to time. There is no way for me to assign events in a way that you avoid all your swimmers' events. There's too few of us and of our athletes, most of them are swimming almost all events.
Notes from the Meet Director
- Warmups have been assigned. Feet first for warm ups. Toward the end of your warmup time, you can practice diving one way.
- The 3-lane warmup/down pool will be open during competition. Please remind athletes to properly use the lanes. Should they be abused, we do reserve the right to shut it down for the remainder of the session.
- Please see the meet highlight document on our website and in the meet program. This will help answer a lot of questions for those who have not been to a large invitational meet before or perhaps the KHS facility.
- ALL SWIMMERS will exit the backdoor of the natatorium to return to the hallway to meet parents. PLEASE let parents know this is how they are walking back from their event. Encourage them not to crowd near the spectator seating of the nat to allow proper traffic flow.
- NO ONE is allowed to enter the restricted areas of the school. If anyone is found in these areas, the KISD police will be notified. Areas will be blocked off and restricted signs will be posted.
- Live unofficial results will be available via the Meet Mobile App.
- Coaching staff must check in at the table just inside the natatorium to receive their deck pass and paperwork. If they are bringing a check for entry fees, it must be given at the table prior to receiving their packet.

Tips from the Coaches
- Don't wear your Fins/SST/Pack or any club logo on your cap. They will DQ you. Summer League team caps are okay.
- Finding a place to sit as as a team is brutal. Other teams will start creating/blocking off areas for each other... So show up AT LEAST 30 mins before warm-up and wear the team shirt so y'all can find each other.
- Bring blankets and hoodies because the cafeteria/gym can get cold. Swimmers, you need to stay warm so your muscles don't get stiff before your race. Bring Chairs.
- Stretch a little before each race and bring something with natural sugars like watermelon to boost your energy throughout this long meet. Don't pile up on donuts/candy or you will crash!
- Bring back up caps and back up googles. I've seen them break at invitational meets every single year.
