What a great first three days of school at CTMS! We want to thank our families, dedicated staff, and, most importantly, our amazing students for helping make the start of the 2026–2027 school year such a positive and successful one.
Throughout these first few days, we have seen the **CTMS Three—Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe—**come to life across our school. Our students have done a wonderful job learning routines, supporting one another, making positive choices, and contributing to a welcoming school community. We appreciate our families continuing to reinforce these important expectations at home as we work together to help our students grow both in and out of the classroom.
Our teachers have spent these opening days building positive relationships with students while also beginning to blend academics into classroom activities. Establishing these connections and expectations provides a strong foundation for learning, and we are excited to begin diving more deeply into our curriculum next week.
A reminder that Tuesday, September 1, 2026, is a non-school day for students and a Professional Development Day for CTMS staff.
Kudos to our students, staff, and families for a fantastic start! We look forward to building on this positive momentum throughout the school year.
