We had a great week at Belton Elementary School!

Our students enjoyed a play performed by PorkChop Productions! The play was the story of a fisherman and his wife. The fisherman and his wife had to learn the hard way when they caught a fish who promised to grant them three wishes, if they would set him free. The story "addresses the themes of greed, keeping your word and being happy with the things you have...and not dwelling on the things you don't."

Our two current middle schools in the district have some significant financial challenges. The district is proposing the possibility of building a new middle school for Belton and Honea Path students to occupy in 2027-2028. Here is a link for some clarifying information - Building For Tomorrow

Our Boosterthon fundraiser will kick off on February 12. Students will be earning money for our school, specifically for Recess swag bags for their classroom. You are invited to the Fun Run on Feb 21 as we celebrate as a school all the money that we raise!

PTO would like to invite you to paint the rock for your child's birthday or to celebrate

Cost - $20

Paint - You are responsible for painting the rock with your own paint supplies

You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.

If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.

The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.

Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.

Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
