Hardy Happenings
December 8, 2025

Dear Hardy Families,
A huge thank you to our incredible PTA and Hardy Dad’s Club for the amazing Fall Festival they put on this past weekend, and to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and creativity to make it such a special event. There is truly no better community than Hardy.
Big things are happening on campus in the next two weeks. On Monday, December 15, our TK–2 classrooms will receive keys to their new rooms, and several staff members will be on the move. All of our TK–2 teachers, along with Mrs. Cornell (4th grade), Mrs. Ely (5th grade), Mrs. Stein, Ms. Silva (Education Specialists), and Ms. Juarez, our speech-language pathologist, will be relocating to new spaces as the first step in our modernization. Once we move, you will see all of our portables, and Room 1, demolished early in the new year to make way for the new parking lot. Yay!
We would love your help to make the move a little lighter. On Wednesday, December 17, beginning at 12:00 p.m., families are invited to join us for an Adult Move Afternoon. Even if your child’s teacher is not moving, you are welcome to come and help another teacher. While our moving company will handle the big items and furniture on December 22, we would be grateful for help with more valuable classroom items, setting up new bulletin boards, and getting spaces ready for students. Because our new classrooms sit within an active construction area and we need this to be focused work time for staff, this will be an adult-only event, no students or siblings. Thank you for understanding.
Next week is also our December to Remember spirit week. Each day has a fun dress-up theme:
• Monday 12/15, Do You Want to Build a Snowman
• Tuesday 12/16, Elves in Action
• Wednesday 12/17, Winter Wonderland Wednesday
• Thursday 12/18, Long Winter’s Nap - pajama day
Join us that evening for Winter Story Night at 6:30 in the auditorium
• Friday 12/19, Sweater Weather
Hardy elves have been known to sprinkle a little magic around campus during December to Remember. Last year, we had a naughty and nice list, staff elf nicknames, and it even “snowed” at Hardy. We have a feeling the elves might return again this year. Tag us in your photos on Instagram @HardyOwls and @HardyOwlsPTA so we can repost the fun!
With Gratitude,
Principal Aragon

PTA News & Updates
🪄 Fall Carnival – Thank You for an Incredible Day!
What a joyful afternoon. Thank you to every family who came out to the Wizarding World of Hardy — from wand-making and wizardly crafts to the Shrieking Shack, giant slide, and bake sale, the campus was buzzing with energy all day long.
This event is only possible because of our community:
our volunteers, who set up tents, ran booths, corralled kids, and kept everything running smoothly
our bakers, who filled the Cake Walk and Bake Sale tables to overflowing
our Dads Club, for transforming the auditorium into a fantastic Shrieking Shack, helping to set-up, and manning the grill all day
and every student and family who showed up, played, laughed, and supported Hardy
