Highlights from See Me Soar Night
It was so amazing to see so many of our students and families at See Me SOAR Night! We had a GREAT turnout, with around 65% of our students in attendance!
We loved watching our students take the lead, share their learning, and talk about the goals they are working toward. We are so proud of them!
If you were unable to attend, don’t worry! Teachers and students have made a plan for your child to bring their information home and lead their conference with you there.
We cannot wait to do another similar event in the spring, where our students can update you on how they have CRUSHED their learning goals and show just how much they have grown!

Breakfast With Buddies is Tuesday & Wednesday!
Breakfast With Buddies
At Rann Elementary, every Eagle and every family matters! We know that families come in all shapes and sizes, and we want our celebrations to be welcoming and inclusive for every student.
This year, instead of hosting separate breakfast celebrations, we are excited to invite our families to Breakfast with Buddies!
📅 WHEN?
October 6 | Last Names A–M
October 7 | Last Names N–Z
⏰ 7:00–7:30 AM
Students are invited to bring a special “buddy” to enjoy breakfast with them! A buddy can be a parent, grandparent, family member, or another special adult in your child’s life.
📚 BONUS — VISIT THE BOOK FAIR!
Our Book Fair will open early on both mornings so students and their buddies can stop by and browse together!
After breakfast, students will say goodbye to their buddies and head straight to class, ready for a great day of learning.
We are so excited to create a celebration where everyone belongs and every student has someone special to celebrate with!
We can't wait to see our Eagles and their buddies! 🦅

🦅 Learning to SOAR as a Rann Eagle!
This year, your students will learn all about what it takes to SOAR as a Rann Eagle! One thing we will use to teach them these characteristics is our EAGLE Expectations:

💛 L — Listening & Leadership
💜 E — Empathy
Spend some time at home talking to your child about what they have been learning about each expectation and what each one looks like in action!

EAGLE Trait of October: Growth Mindset
Each month, our campus is focusing on specific character trait(s) within the E.A.G.L.E. framework. When teachers, staff, and other adults on campus see a child exhibiting the characteristics, they can nominate them for an Eagle Leader award. Eagle Leaders get recognized on the morning announcements, receive a certificate and prize, get their picture taken for the Eagle Leader bulletin board, and are recognized at the 9-weeks awards assembly. Check out this month's focus!
Monthly Character Trait Calendar
October Calendars will be coming home this week! This is a fun way to connect with your child at home! Work together to complete the activities, sign it and have your child return it on November 1st for a prize in the front office.
