We ask that all parents support our need to have our students focused for their practice STAAR next week. We will have a CLOSED CAMPUS asking that we have no visitors during the testing days. Please send all student snacks, lunches and belongings with them each day.

Our 3rd-5th grade students will begin their practice for the Spring STAAR exam. Please make sure your student is present during this time so they can get an idea of this year's assessment format and questions.

The Performance Matters Parent Portal provides families with secure access to review student learning insights, including National, Texas, and Harmony test results. All in simple parent dashboards.

• Academic Data: Access to state test results and other assessments.
  • NWEA assessments
  • STAAR Test
  • Curriculum-Based Assessments (CBAs)
  • Gradebook details,
• Performance Reports: View detailed student reports, such as the "Baseball Card" report.
• Behavioral/Attendance Trends: Track daily, school-based metrics.
• Teacher Communication: Option to email teachers directly.
• Customized Views: Depending on school district settings, parents may view grades, schedules, and specific observational data

In addition, the portal supports communication by helping you stay informed and connected with your child’s teachers. Having easy access to this information allows you to ask informed questions, discuss progress, and work collaboratively with teachers to support your child’s academic success.

To access the PM Parent Portal, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://parent.performancematters.com/
2. Click on “Need password?” You will be redirected to a new page where you will need to enter your email address.
   • Please use the email address that is recorded in Skyward.
   • If you are a Harmony staff member, you must use your personal email address listed in Skyward — your Harmony work email will not allow access.
3. You will receive an email with a temporary password.
4. Use your email address as your username and the temporary password as your password to log in.
5. You will then be prompted to create a permanent password for future access.

As we begin student health screenings for the school year, we request that all parents and guardians complete the required Notice and Consent for Health Services form on Skyward.

Please note that a new consent form is required each school year, even if you completed one last year. If you have already filled out the form for the current school year, please log in to verify that consent has been granted to allow Ms. Lim to screen your child.

Important Details:

• Online Only: We do not offer paper consent forms. Please refer to the attached flyer for step-by-step instructions on navigating Skyward.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please be advised that the annual spinal screening for 5th-grade girls (and 10-year-old female students), originally scheduled for Friday, October 16, has been postponed. The screening is currently on hold until further notice, and we will update you as soon as a new date is finalized.

If you wish to exempt your child from this screening, please complete the following steps at your earliest convenience:

1. Email Notification: Send an email stating your wish to exempt your child to elim@harmonytx.org.

2. Skyward Form: Log into your Skyward account and complete the Notice and Consent Form if you have not already done so.

Dear Parents,

We are excited to launch an initiative to show our appreciation for the teachers and staff at our school. Each grade level will have the opportunity to contribute by donating breakfast items.

To ensure we have a variety of options for our dedicated team, and to accommodate dietary restrictions, we kindly request that all donated items be peanut-free. Please bring your homemade/store bought breakfast donations to the front office or distribute them during morning drop-off. To accommodate everyone’s busy schedules and ensure we have a variety of options, we are pleased to offer the option to order breakfast items online and have them delivered directly to the front office.

Please ensure that all donated items are peanut-free to accommodate dietary restrictions. Here’s the schedule for each grade level to bring in or order breakfast items every second week of the month:

• PreK: October 7th
• Kindergarten: November 11th
• 1st Grade: December 9th
• 2nd Grade: January 13th
• 3rd Grade: February 17th
• 4th Grade: March 10th
• 5th: April 7th
• PreK- 5th: May 5th

We are looking for a variety of peanut-free breakfast items, such as:

• Fresh fruit (e.g., apples, bananas, berries, grapes, oranges)
• Muffin, pancake, waffle, croissant or pastries
• Bagels with cream cheese or butter
• Jam , jelly, chocolate-hazelnut spread, maple syrup
• Vegetarian Tacos
• Hard boiled eggs
  
• Granola bars (nut-free)
• Yogurt
• Cereal or oatmeal (Individually packaged)
• Breakfast Sandwiches (Vegetarian friendly preferable)
  
• Juice, coffee, or tea
