Indigenous Peoples Day
Late last month, the School Board unanimously voted to recognize the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples Day in the Edmonds School District.
We want to share a recent special dedication when Spruce Elementary dedicated their totem pole in its new location with a visit from the artist and his family.
October is Disabilities Awareness Month
During each month, we honor an equity theme. October is Disability Awareness Month, a time to highlight the diversity, culture, history, and equity issues for students, families, staff, and community with disabilities.
Join us for our community celebration at Lynnwood Elementary with books and crafts throughout the day!
